 Welcome to healthierrelationships.com

An informative Hong Kong - based website run by Nikki Green M.Ed. Psych, a qualified and experienced psychotherapist, offering psychotherapy /counselling, sex therapy, relationship / marital therapy and family therapy, using an eclectic mix of styles developed over the years. She conducts sessions at her office, over the phone or via computer.

Having worked with countless couples over the last 10 years, she has realsied that the more traditional approaches to couples therapy aren't as effective as they should be and she is constantly striving to hone her skills and offer the most effective, evidence-based interventions available in marital therapy today to help the couples she works with (see Relationships and Sex). She finds this has enabled her to get better results in her work with both newer couples, helping them to avoid the inevitable pitfalls so common to all emotionally committed relationships, and also for more well-established couples, who are so caught up in it they can’t see the wood for the trees. She is also a registered sex therapist and sex educator.

While Nikki's passion is working with couples, she also enjoys her work with singles, helping them to get some clarity about their current feelings and situation and how to have a more satisfying life. Part of this work might also include how to help build awareness about the process of dating and how to have more fulfilling and long-lasting relationships.

In addition to psychotherapy she enjoys giving talks and running workshops.

The foundation of Nikki's practice is her unwavering belief that through courage and dedication, there is not a person in this world who cannot evolve towards the person they have longed to be.

It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.
